We went up to Bear Lake over the weekend with my family. It was great weather, and we had a really fun time. Here are some pictures to share.

Our zoo has a really cool, rare white alligator on loan from Louisiana. The boys love it. It is sooo cool because it has blue eyes like our dogs. There are only 10 left and they are all male so unless science intervenes, there will be no more white alligators.... It is cool we had the experience to see this cool animal.

It was a fun day

Jaden's wish was to go out to the Copper Mine this summer so on Wednesday, I took the kids. Gracen, Britt and I went last fall for one of Gracen's preschool field trips, but the girls had never been. It is huge and amazing. There is a neat visitor's center (Museum) you can walk through and a cute gift shop. The girls loved all the jewelry. Gracen loved the fool's gold and Britt just wanted a package of M&M's, easy enough. We had a fun day together. I am really sad summer is coming to an end so soon. On year round school, we didn't get off until the end of June, so we really haven't had that long of a vacation. The girls will start back on August 20th, great birthday present to myself!!! Gracen will start August 27th, Kindergarten starts a week later so the teachers can have all the students come in and meet them and do first of year testing. Gracen and I will be going on August 20th, to meet his teacher and for his testing. He is so excited to start Kindergarten!

We have one more week to cram in all the things we want to do!!!

We had Darin's Family Reunion last weekend up at Cherry Hill Campground, we had a lot of fun. We camped out, had yummy dutch oven cooking and then played all day Saturday, they have waterslides, a lazy river, a rock climbing wall and miniature golf. It was fun to spend time together. I, of course didn't take any pictures, not thinking straight, but I have borrowed a few off of my sister in laws blog, thanks Anabel!!!!

Britt Starts Preschool!!!

My baby boy, Britt started preschool. I was actually really sad about it. I have been longing this moment for the past 10 1/2 years, the days when I would have time to myself again. I am not one of those moms who cries when their child goes to kindergarten, they are ready and I am definately ready for it. Somehow, with Britt it is different, maybe because he's my baby and this will be my last child's "first day of preschool". I am going to have 6 hours a week to myself while he's in school after Gracen starts kindergarten on the 27th. I don't know where to begin to catch up on everything I'm behind in life. I'm sure I'll figure it out and in a few weeks will be loving it.

The Sunday before school started, Gracen got hold of scissors and literally butched 1/2 of his head, Darin shaved him and Gracen really struggled with it, he hated his hair. Gracen has never had short hair though in his life. On Monday morning when he woke up, I was out in the kitchen and here comes Gracen with a blanket on his head. I said "Where's my Gracen?" he said he didn't want me to see him, so Laurie cut off all Britty's hair, too. It was really sad. Gracen is happier now that he and Britt have matching hair again. I am still getting used to them, they both look completely different, Britt looks much more grown up with his short hair. I think we will be growing the hair back out. It's cute and nice and cool for summer, but I miss the cute blonde curls.

The girls did a camp at the local recreation center where you go every day from 9-3 for a week, they learned a play and then on Saturday, they performed it at Raging Waters. It was sooo fun and they had a great time doing it. Acting and drama are right down their alley. They performed Shrek III and it was so cute and amazing that everyone learned their lines in one week. The only downfall is the stage was right outside in 100 degree weather with those costumes on, so the actual performance was a little hot, but nontheless, the girls were awesome!!! Our cousin, Maia did it too and she had the part of Fiona (she even had to kiss Shrek!!!) Our next door neighbors, Eric and Amy came too with their darling boy, Camden. I want to adopt him, but I don't think it's going to happen. I'll just borrow him often. I love this cute little boy.

It had been sooo hot down here for three weeks, like in the 100's every day, so we decided for the 24th of July, our state holiday we would go spend a night at Snowbird. It was cooler and beautiful!!! We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant up there then went swimming. We woke up and had their awesome brunch and then rode the Tram, and played all day. It was really fun and relaxing and great to have some family time. It's getting nice to not have a baby, too. All the kids could do most everything, besides the zip line. Danni was sooo mad she wasn't 75 pounds yet!!!
